Loughborough College is delighted to confirm the appointment of new Chief Executive John Doherty, who will step into the role from 1 November 2017.

John joins the College from ESPO, where he has been Managing Director for the past five years. Prior to this he has held senior positions in both the public and private sectors.

“I see this appointment as a privilege for me. Loughborough College enjoys an excellent reputation and plays a significant role in education and training locally, in the region and nationally.

“My experience in commercial leadership will complement the skill and dedication of the staff who underpin that reputation and will help build on the College’s strengths for the future.

“I am sincerely excited at the prospect of joining Loughborough College and look forward to leading the organisation.”
