17 December 2015

We have had an exciting year at ABC Awards, welcoming new Centres, developing new and existing qualifications, products and services, and announcing our new strategic partnership with emfec and ASDAN.

We also celebrated the achievement of Showcase Centre status by two of our Centres, Truro and Penwith College and Basingstoke College, who represent excellence in Art and Design and in Fashion Retail respectively.

We are proud to be at the forefront of influencing the future of FE as well as developing creative new ways to deliver high-quality qualifications. We have further increased our collaborative working including teaming up with five partners to deliver nationally standardised Function Skills qualifications as the Awarding Consortium and we are also delighted to have retained a position in the top 10 of Awarding Organisations with the most funded qualifications.

This year we have seen our Quality Licence Scheme widen and we are now working with more than 25 organisations supporting over 15,000 learners to complete a non-regulated, externally endorsed learning programme.

We also announced in October of our plans to form a new strategic partnership with emfec and ASDAN. This partnership will enable us to combine our expertise and strengths so we can continue to offer high-quality qualifications, products, resources and services to schools, colleges, training companies and higher education institutes.

All of us at ABC Awards are looking forward to continuing to work with you in 2016 and would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the Centres, employers, organisations and industry bodies who have worked alongside us to make this year's achievements possible.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
