This exciting two-day programme welcomes back Kim Rutherford (psychotherapist, author and founder of Dalton Wise Coaching and Therapy) and focuses on improving and managing the mental health and wellness of yourself and others.

The course shares the 8Wise™ wellness approach for managing mental health and wellness. Attendees will gain a detailed insight into the full spectrum of wellness and its impact on mental health, and will develop a range of skills, tools and strategies to manage mental wellness. Delegates will gain an understanding of all eight elements of wellness and how they each impact mental and physical health.

By the end of the programme, attendees will have developed the knowledge, skills and tools for a life-long strategy for protecting mental health. This will provide the tools for both managing own wellness and supporting others with their mental wellness.

This course will cover:

  • The 8Wise™ wellness approach
  • The link between wellness, wellbeing and mental health
  • Current mental health risks for self, staff and learners
  • Wellness and wellbeing strategies and tools.

As well as receiving access to all of the trademarked content delivered throughout the programme, all delegates will receive a complimentary copy of Kim's book, '8Wise Ways to a Healthier Happier Mind'.

Kim is a psychotherapist, coach and trainer specialising in mental health, mental wellness, mindset and leadership development. Kim’s understanding and experience has enabled her to create the 8Wise Wellness Programme; a unique methodology for supporting mental health recovery, managing wellness and wellbeing, and implementing effective workplace wellbeing policies, processes and procedures for a healthy and engaging work culture.

    Robins Wood House Training Centre is located in Aspley, about 2.5 miles to the north west of Nottingham city centre. It is easily accessible from the M1 (Junctions 25 & 26) and there are public transport links from the city centre. The nearest train station is Nottingham. Car parking at Robins Wood House is free.

    Completion of the booking constitutes a contract between yourselves and the Skills and Education Group. In order to receive a refund, all cancellations must be made in writing at least 14 days prior to the event taking place. Non-attendance will result in the place being charged at full cost. Substitutions are welcome and can be made at any time. The Skills and Education Group reserves the right to cancel or alter the event for reasons beyond its control.
