If you teach English, or if you would like to improve the embedding of English or maths in your practice, then this event is for you! This ETF Practice Development Group (PDG) dissemination event will share the project outcomes of several groups of FE teachers working in the East of England. Those attending will hear about a variety of strategies, techniques and resources that can be used to aid and support the development of new approaches to the embedding of maths, or the teaching and embedding of English.

This particular dissemination event is part of a wider national ETF PDG programme, offering an opportunity to bring teachers and trainers together so that they can learn from each other and share practice. The Skills and Education Group has a role in supporting PDGs in the East of England, and so this virtual Zoom event will enable participants from the East of England to present their project findings. For example, several of the PDG groups focused on exploring the use of digital technologies to support online delivery; some have had a specific focus on teaching ESOL; and others have viewed new ways to embed maths.

To come and join us for what will be an interesting and informative event offering new ideas, solutions and approaches which you will be able to take away and try within your own practice.
