During this Network, Stefan will focus on a key areas pertinent to all, offering input and sharing ideas around:

  • the implementation of the new Diploma in Teaching

  • assessment of the occupational standards in observations

  • delivery of subject specific pedagogy in taught ITE sessions, and

  • effective support and management of mentors

In addition, during today's event there will be plenty of opportunity for your to reflect on your own programmes, sharing best practice with others attending.

Facilitated by Karen Plowman, Head of Professional Development and Learning, Skills and Education Group, this networking event will offer an opportunity for you to share approaches with others responsible for leading Post-16 Initial Teacher Education.

So that we are able to support ITE providers from across the UK, we have made the decision that this event will be delivered through an online approach via Zoom, with joining instructions forwarded to all those who have registered to attend 24-48 hours prior to the event.
