£60.00 (£75.00 non-members)

We have much to be proud of in the sector in the way that colleges and other post-16 providers have rallied and continue to provide high-quality learning experiences for the communities we serve, despite challenging circumstances.  This meeting is following the great success of recent Quality Matters Networks in celebrating the successes of several organisations following recent Ofsted inspections.

This term we are pleased to welcome inputs from providers who have recently been inspected. We hear from the largest sub-contractor in the UK of FE provision, Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies.  Nat Goddard (Head of Learning and Development) will outline their experience as a sub-contractor of Ofsted’s deep dives and how these differed from their expectations, both in terms of format and the individual approaches of the inspectors involved.  We all also be hearing from representatives of some of the curriculum teams involved, as well as the Quality team at Barnsley College for an insightful reflection of their recent 'Outstanding' inspection.

We know that networking works best face-to-face. Facilitated by Dr Alison Scott (Lead Professional Development Lead, Skills and Education Group) and Will Sibley (Training and Development Manager, Skills and Education Group) we hope that you will be able to attend the meeting in person, current social distancing rules permitting.  So, do come and join us with the official meeting starting from 09:15 followed by a networking lunch from 12:15.
