Following on from the success of our previous TeachMeets, this event - led by practitioners for practitioners - will focus on delving into the questions around ‘next steps’.
By the time of this TeachMeet, learners will be registered and initial progress reviews will have been conducted, potentially highlighting the varied starting points, and progress, that learners have made over the last 18 months. This blended event will share the benefits of altering curriculum design mid-year, accommodating mixed starting points, and using a variety of classroom techniques for maximising progress, in order to aid retention, progress and achievement.
This event is for all practitioners who wish to enhance their practice through the sharing of useful innovations and personal insights around the use of technology in education. So, if you have a desire to enhance your professional development and learn more about how technological innovations can support teaching and learning, then this is the event for you.
Following an initial opening address, each presentation will feature hands-on ideas and approaches for educators to take away and use in their own practice. As such, we welcome input from practitioners and educators from across the sector who are willing to share some of the creative ideas, strategies and approaches they are using in their practice. Do get in touch if you would like to present at this TeachMeet.
This event will be held simultaneously at our premises at Robins Wood House, Nottingham, and virtually via Zoom. Attendees are welcome to join us in person to enjoy a networking lunch at 12:15 prior to the event; alternatively, please feel free to access the event remotely via Zoom once proceedings start at 13:00.
Please note: due to current social distancing guidance, in-person places for this event will be limited.
