ABC Awards Showcase Centre Fashion Enter is the newest Provider to join our popular Quality Licence Scheme to recognise the quality of their non-regulated courses.
Fashion Enter’s Fashion Technology Academy – a collaboration between Fashion Enter, Haringey Council, the Department for Work and Pensions, and global retailer ASOS – is an extension of the social enterprise’s successful Stitching Academy, offering a range of fashion-related courses and qualifications from Level 1 to Level 4.
The academy is the first apparel manufacturing training academy in the UK to operate alongside a live factory and fashion studio, which gives their learners the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in a real-life setting.
In addition to offering ABC Awards regulated qualifications, Fashion Enter has just joined our Quality Licence Scheme which recognises the courses they develop in-house for their high quality.
These courses have been designed by the Fashion Technology Academy to meet specific learner and employer requirements beyond the scope of regulated qualifications.
Jenny Holloway, Chief Executive of Fashion Capital and its sister company Fashion Enter, said:
“We are over the moon! Being recognised for the courses we perform for M&S, New Look and Arcadia by ABC Awards is a real honour – it’s a testament to the hardworking talented team of tutors here at the Fashion Technology Academy.
“The process was very rigorous and robust but ABC Awards was incredibly helpful and supportive. Recently we have had other retailers requesting continuous personal and professional development courses and many other niche training areas. Now we can offer certificates of achievement for the attendees too! Big thank you to the team and to ABC Awards.”
The Quality Licence Scheme reviews non-regulated provision based on leadership and management, resources, quality of the courses available, and on delivery and quality assurance.
Providers who meet our expectations in these criteria are eligible for the scheme, which gives them endorsement from a national awarding organisation and enables them to present learners who have completed their course with an ABC Awards branded Certificate of Achievement and unit summary which lists the details of the units they have completed.
In addition, Providers working with ABC Awards will have an annual audit completed by a dedicated specialist who will support further development and improvement by offering feedback and best practice advice.
The cost of joining our Quality Licence Scheme is £2000 per year which includes a site visit, annual audit and access to our secure online portal, as well as the inclusion of an unlimited number of new courses.
