We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Credit Controller to join the team and work closely with the Deputy Chief Executive in providing a comprehensive, efficient and high-quality credit control function for the Group. This role will be on a 6-month fixed-term basis and will play a key part in ensuring effective debt management and maintaining the financial stability of the organisation.
To be successful in this role, you should possess a relevant credit control qualification such as AAT Level 3 or CICM Level 3 in Credit and Collections, and have at least two years’ professional experience in credit control. You should have a strong track record in debt recovery, reducing debtor balances and implementing effective credit control processes. Experience working with financial systems such as Sage 200 and familiarity with using external debt collecting agencies or legal recovery processes would be advantageous.
You should be comfortable working in a busy office environment and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially when dealing with challenging conversations. Time management, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively across teams are essential.
