The first round of Teacher Regional Improvement Projects (TRIPs) were commissioned in June 2019. 31 TRIPs were awarded funding to support the development of teaching practice in preparation for T Levels.
Managed by the Knowledge Hub lead delivery partners, the TRIPs will be collaborative projects designed to improve the quality of technical teaching and learning in a diverse range of settings.
Successful TRIP applicants will receive funding for their project and remission fees to attend relevant CPD offered through other strands of the T Level support offer, and colleagues will have the support of a project peer adviser.
Details of the procedure for the TRIP application process, guidance for applicants and the application form are available below. Applications for the second wave of 19 further TRIPS opened on 16 August with a submission deadline of 11 October 2019 at midday.
