Christmas has come early for firms in Staffordshire thanks to a £2.4 million award from the European Social Fund.
The award is aimed at supporting small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) by providing free or subsidised training to upskill existing employees. Buxton & Leek College are proud to be part of Skills Staffordshire; a group of Staffordshire based training providers collaborating on this exciting project.
David Roberts, Business Development Manager for Buxton & Leek College, said:
“We can deliver a wide range of training courses to support staff development. We already work with many small and medium sized businesses in the county and, from experience, we know that many are really keen to invest in more training for their staff but simply don’t have the financial resources. We hope that, in 2017, we can target some of this European Social Funding to help companies achieve their staff development goals.”
To take advantage of the European Social Fund money that has been made available or for more advice contact; David Roberts on 01298 330558 or Kath Ferns on 01298 330515 to arrange a training needs analysis at your company free of charge.
Buxton & Leek College boasts industry standard facilities, comprehensive support services, and a team of dedicated staff who take pride in supporting students towards their study and career goals.
