Hey everyone, welcome back to another monthly blog.

I have officially finished my Level 3 multi-channel marketing apprenticeship, so that chapter has come to an end and I’m now onto the next stage with my Level 4 marketing executive apprenticeship. It feels strange closing one book and opening another, but I’m really excited for what’s next. Let’s dive into what this past month looked like.

Podcast – East Midlands Apprenticeship Ambassador Network

This month, the East Midlands Apprenticeship Ambassador Network hosted a podcast session where ambassadors volunteered to share their apprenticeship journeys. The aim was to highlight the power of apprenticeships and show that anyone can pursue one, no matter their background.

I filmed my episode with Kasim, who completed the same apprenticeship as me. It was such an amazing experience because he’s essentially where I could be in the future, and I’m where he once was. We discussed our journeys, the advice we’d give to apprentices, and how our experiences compare.

It felt especially meaningful because I was right at the end of my Level 3 apprenticeship when we recorded it. Reflecting on how far I’d come, while talking to someone who had already taken the next steps, really put everything into perspective. It was a great session, and I’m so glad I participated.

Completing My Level 3 Apprenticeship

On the 27th of January, I completed my End Point Assessment (EPA) and had my final interview. If you’re a Level 3 Marketing apprentice and you’re feeling anxious about your EPA, please don’t be.

The assessor was really nice, and the whole thing felt far more natural and conversational than I expected. We talked about what I’d learned, the projects I’d worked on, and my future goals. My presentation also went really well, which I was relieved about.

I achieved a Distinction. That moment felt incredible, not just because it’s the highest grade possible, but because it validated all the hard work I’ve put in. More than anything, though, I’m proud of the skills I’ve developed and the confidence I’ve gained. And now, I’m officially starting my Level 4 apprenticeship.

Marketing Advisor Role

Another huge milestone this month, I applied for the Marketing Advisor role within the East Midlands Apprenticeship Ambassador Network and got the position.

Apprenticeships genuinely changed my life. They gave me direction, real-world experience, and a career path that truly fits how I learn and work best.

Being able to promote apprenticeships, raise awareness, and help challenge misconceptions around them is incredibly meaningful to me. I’m really looking forward to working with this inspiring network of ambassadors to amplify apprentice voices and show what apprenticeships can really offer.

Level 4 Onboarding – Marketing Executive

I also had my onboarding session for my Marketing Executive Level 4 apprenticeship with Baltic Apprenticeships, and it’s been a really smooth process so far.

The group I’m with is great, everyone comes from a wide range of backgrounds, which makes discussions really interesting. During onboarding, we completed benchmarking (Competitor analysis) tasks and a SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) analysis, which was genuinely useful. It’s something I can bring straight into team catch-ups at work, which already shows how practical this qualification is going to be.

I can already tell this apprenticeship is going to push me in new ways. Baltic have been excellent so far, my coach has scheduled regular catch-ups and progress meetings, and I feel very supported heading into this next stage.

So that’s this month wrapped up.

It’s been a month of endings, new beginnings, and big milestones, and I’m excited to see where this next chapter takes me.

I’ll let you know how it goes. See you in the next one.
