Hi all, welcome back to another blog! Second month into my Level 4 apprenticeship… let’s dive in!

I’m now officially a month into my Level 4 apprenticeship, and honestly, it feels like I’ve levelled up already. When I first started, I remember thinking, what are they actually going to teach me that I didn’t already learn in my Level 3? After completing my Level 3 apprenticeship, I felt like I had a solid foundation in marketing. But I couldn’t have been more wrong. This is a real step up, and I’m learning so much more than I expected.

We’re diving deeper into skills like project writing and using AI, but in a much more detailed and strategic way. It’s not just about using tools, it’s about understanding different approaches, tailoring them to specific needs, and even learning about the background and development behind them. It’s been really interesting, and I’m picking up knowledge I didn’t even realise I’d need.

A big shoutout to my tutor, Olivia, as well. She’s been amazing. She’s always there to answer questions and gives really detailed, helpful advice, which makes such a difference when you’re learning something new.

The learning style at Level 4 is also quite different. Through my provider, Baltic, we use a platform also called Baltic to complete courses and interactive tasks. I’ve found this way of learning very engaging . The content is interactive, and the videos are enjoyable to watch, which definitely helps keep me motivated.

Another part of my role that I’m really excited about right now is developing my filming and video-editing skills. As a team, we’re starting to do more filming, and I’m really enjoying getting involved in that side of things. I’ve been trying to upskill every day, especially when it comes to editing; it’s quickly becoming one of my favourite parts of the job. Alongside that, I’m working to improve my analytics knowledge, particularly Google Analytics, which I know will be really valuable going forward.

Finally, some exciting news, I’ve been nominated as a finalist for Apprentice Champion of the Year at the Nottingham College Apprenticeship Awards! I’m so grateful to my manager for putting me forward. I’m really looking forward to the event, it’ll be a great opportunity to meet other apprentices, celebrate achievements, and reflect on how far I’ve come since completing my Level 3.

That’s all for now, see you next time!
