Our Summer Term Online English and Maths Network is taking place on Friday 14 June 2024, 13.00 to 15.30
This network will online and once again be facilitated by Dianne Robinson.
Key speakers:
Julia Smith: Maths Teacher Trainer and Author; Expert Panel Member and Resource Writer for AQA; Shine Award Winner 2021 for the 5Rs GCSE Maths Resit Curriculum
Topic: GCSE Maths Resit and Functional Maths - Top Tips for Success
The session will focus upon what works and what doesn't in terms of motivation and engagement with the post-16 audience...it will be supported by a padlet of ready to use resources and approaches. There will be the opportunity for Q&A.
Nikki Milton: Assistant Head of Department, Adult and Apprenticeships, Cambridge Regional College
The session will focus on innovative approaches to teaching English and share some of her resources in addition to the fast track GCSE scheme of work for apprentices.

All joining instructions will be sent a day prior to the session taking place and you will either be able to join us online, or by dialling into the session.
