the key principles and practices of assessment and feedback. **

 

** And, as we are now able to offer a range of qualifications to support colleagues,

the course content and any linked assessments activities ensure that those attending are able to achieve the 

Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment. **

 

The course includes all the elements that are necessary to learn how to become a confident and competent assessor in terms of effective planning, the importance of providing constructive feedback to learners and how to effectively review learner progress. The required assessment tasks are straightforward and will enable you to demonstrate that you can put your learning into practice through evidence and evaluation.

Participants who complete this qualification will have a concrete understanding of the following:

  • The principles and practices of assessment

  • How to assess occupational competence in the work environment

  • How to assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding

Following two introductory sessions offering an outline of the programme and its requirements, learning and assessment will be ongoing through our Learning Management System (LMS) where all the resources and assessment materials can be accessed for those on programme.  A follow up session is also provided further into your learning, with your assessor offering continuous support throughout your course.

  • How do I access my training?

    All joining instructions for your online sessions will be sent prior to the training taking place.  To access your continuous online learning, resources and assessment modules that support the programme, a personalised login to enable you to access our Learning Management System will be provided on enrolment.

  • Terms and conditions

    Completion of this booking constitutes a contract between yourselves and the Skills and Education Group. In order to receive a refund, all cancellations must be made in writing at least 14 days prior to the programme taking place. Non-attendance will result in the place being charged at full cost. Substitutions are welcome and can be made at any time. The Skills and Education Group reserves the right to cancel or alter the event for reasons beyond its control.
