As we are now able to offer a range of qualifications to support our colleagues across the FE and Skills Sector, we are delighted to be able to offer the Level 4 Award in the External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice
This qualification is intended for those who maintain the quality of assessment from outside an organisation or assessment centre, usually on behalf of an awarding organisation. It is designed for those who wish to gain the essential knowledge and understanding of the principles and practices that underpin the external quality assurance of assessment.
The qualification ensures that all assessors and internal verifiers are making correct, reliable assessment judgements in terms of validity, authenticity, and currency of assessed activities; and that there is sufficient evidence provided to show competency of all those taking part in the learning programme.
The quality assurance process is also key for a provider to ensure a high-quality service is provided to all stakeholders, ensuring that staff working within a provider are qualified and competent to the correct standard.

How to externally assure the quality of assessment
Following an initial introductory session and follow up session, learning and assessment will be ongoing through our Learning Management System (LMS) where all the resources and assessment materials can be accessed to those on programme. A further follow up sessions will also be provided throughout your learning journey to enable you to gain additional understanding of the concepts involved in the internal quality assurance process and to review your progress. Your assessor will also be able to offer you continuous support and guidance throughout your course.

How do I access my training?
All joining instructions for your three online sessions will be sent prior to the training taking place. To access your continuous online learning, resources and assessment modules that support the programme, a personalised login to enable you to access our Learning Management System will be provided.

Terms and conditions
Completion of this booking constitutes a contract between yourselves and the Skills and Education Group. In order to receive a refund, all cancellations must be made in writing at least 14 days prior to the programme taking place. Non-attendance will result in the place being charged at full cost. Substitutions are welcome and can be made at any time. The Skills and Education Group reserves the right to cancel or alter the event for reasons beyond its control.
