As a result of team expansion, we are now looking for a Compliance and Regulation Officer, to be based at our offices in Nottingham. As an Awarding Organisation, our qualifications are delivered through approved providers. Our Compliance and Regulation team are responsible for ensuring compliance with the requirements of all regulators and regulatory bodies for the Skills and Education Group.
You will be involved in a wide range of activities including Centre recognition approval processes; dealing with Reasonable Adjustment and Special Consideration requests for learners; and collating evidence for audits, complaints and appeals.
You should have experience of working in a busy office with a strong compliance and regulatory ethos. Whilst experience working in education or an awarding body is not essential, it would be an advantage.
You should be highly organised with an excellent eye for detail and good IT skills. You must have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues clearly. Customer service, fairness and teamwork are a significant part of the role to ensure we provide a courteous, professional and efficient service at all times.
