About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quality and Regulation Officer (Security and Protective Services) to join our organisation. Reporting to the Senior Quality Manager, Security and Protective Services, this role is central to ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining high-quality standards across BIIAB’s Security and Protective Services qualifications.
The successful candidate will:

Support the Senior Manager in maintaining essential regulatory processes and ensuring compliance with SIA and Ofqual requirements.

Manage the day-to-day administration of the Security and Protective Services compliance and regulation function.

Support centre recognition and qualification approval processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and full compliance.

Oversee the coordination of investigations, appeals, and malpractice cases, ensuring all procedures are followed within required timescales.

Monitor and report on centre activity, data accuracy, and quality assurance performance to support continuous improvement.

Who we are looking for
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Proven experience in data management, administration, or quality assurance within an education, training, or regulatory environment.

Excellent IT skills and a high level of accuracy in managing and reporting data.

Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

A professional and collaborative working style, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and with external partners.

A commitment to high standards, integrity, and continuous improvement.
A Level 3 qualification in Business Administration or similar, and knowledge of quality assurance processes or regulatory frameworks (such as Ofqual or SIA), would be advantageous.
