Due to the success of our previous TeachMeets, we are delighted to be able to bring you this in-person event in conjunction with Birmingham Metropolitan College.
Our TeachMeet will be taking place at BMet's Matthew Boulton Campus on the afternoon of Wednesday 07 February 2024 from 13:30-16:15 and will include a range of inputs from practitioners, for practitioners, from across all provider types.
This event is for teachers, trainers and assessors who wish to enhance their practice through the sharing of useful innovations and personal insights that can help to engage, motivate and inspire learners at all stages of their education. As part of the programme, we are delighted to welcome Wesley Hodgson, BMet's Teaching and Learning Innovation Manager who will share the positive impact that a recently funded project has had on raising learner aspirations.
The event will also provide information about other ways in which Skills and Education Group's Foundation has supported learners through a wide variety of grants, including other research projects, individual help for learners which has enabled them to continue their learning and succeed, and the funding of resources and facilities grants allowing learners not only to achieve to their full potential, but over and above their expectations.
This event will offer all those attending an opportunity to collaborate around effective aspects of their own practice and offer the sharing of ideas and knowledge gained at the event to improve own delivery and assessment.
So, if you have a desire to enhance your professional development, collaborate with others and learn more about alternative ways to motivate and support learners so that they are able to succeed to their full potential and beyond, then why not come along and join us.
💡 If you would like an opportunity to share input at the event on a resource, idea or application linked to the topic of encouraging learners to engage and become inspired and motivated about their learning and future aspirations, then please feel free to email me at karenp@skillsedugroup.co.uk. 💡
To avoid disappointment, reserve your free place now!!
