We are pleased to be able to invite you to a virtual ETF Knowledge Exchange. Free of charge and similar to a TeachMeet in format, this 'skills takeway' will offer an opportunity to bring teachers and trainers together so that they can learn from each other.
This particular knowledge exchange is part of a wider national ETF programme of Practice Development Groups (PDGs), supporting practitioners to develop new approaches to the embedding of maths or the teaching and embedding of English.
The Skills and Education Group has a role in supporting PDGs in the East of England, and this virtual Zoom event will enable participants from the East of England to present an aspect of their developing practice. For example, several of the PDG projects are focusing on exploring the use of digital technologies to support online delivery; some have a specific focus on teaching ESOL; and others are looking at new ways to embed maths.
Each presentation will be between 5 and 10 minutes, allowing for a concentrated input of a practical resource, technique or idea that participants can take away and try in their own practice. So, if you teach English or maths, or you would like to develop new approaches to embed English and maths in your delivery, then this event is for you!
Signing up to the event is easy, and can be completed by accessing this link: https://booking.etfoundation.co.uk/course/details/1073/East-of-England-Skills-Takeaway?sh=1250339&ci_id=4795 Alternatively, for more information, please contact Karen Plowman, Head of Professional Development for more details.
We look forward to welcoming you to this practical session designed to support and enhance your teaching practice.
