Bedonwell Counselling has received Showcase Centre Status from ABC Awards for their Counselling Training courses.

The unveiling event was held at Bedonwell Counselling’s Training Centre in Mill Bay, Folkestone on Wednesday September 27^th.

The Head of Business Development of the Awarding Body, Paul Fleming, visited Bedonwell Counselling to present them with their Showcase centre status.

Paul said “ABC Awards is delighted to recognise the outstanding work of Bedonwell Counselling. Over the 7 years we have been in partnership, we have been impressed with the student success rates and look forward to sharing best practice going forward.”

ABC Awards is a leading national awarding organisation which has a long-established reputation for developing and awarding high quality vocational qualifications. Bedonwell Counselling is the only centre to achieve this award in counselling in the UK.

Head of Centre and director of Bedonwell Counselling, Graham Griffin was present to receive this award.

Graham said; “It is deeply satisfying to receive this award by ABC Awards to acknowledge the work that is undertaken by our tutors and students alike. Additionally, it recognises the administrative staff at Bedonwell Counselling that provide such great support for our tutors and the learners at our centre.

This award will help strengthen our relationships with local businesses and employers who recognise the importance of having their staff trained in mental health awareness and the use of counselling skills in the workplace as well as supporting individuals looking to retrain as professional counsellors in this growing field of work”.
