Skills and Education Group joins North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College and the wider college sector in mourning the sudden loss of a dear colleague and friend, Tom Hamilton-Dick.

Tom was caring, full of charisma, energetic and kind-hearted and deeply passionate about the further education sector. He was a talented leader, and his commitment to students saw him rise through the ranks in a career that has now been cruelly cut short.

Over the years Tom has played a pivotal role in shaping Skills and Education Group as a Trustee. His advice and counsel were valued by us all, and he will be greatly missed. Tom will forever be remembered for his sense of humour, and his ability to light up the room with his radiant smile. The FE sector will be much poorer without him.

Our deepest condolences are with Tom’s family and friends, and the college communities in North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire, and Nottingham.
